A medium size, green-yellow apple with red stripes. Late summer apple – good for eating/cooking, with fair storage qualities. Prefers a moist, well-drained soil. Requires another apple within 150m (500′) for cross-pollination. A 1945 introduction from North Battleford, SK. It has white with a pinkish tint spring flowering. It has pale, yellowish, green fruit with a dull red blush, while the flesh is fairly crisp and slightly tart. Good for eating and cooking, and is moderately good for storing.
