Tillandsia Plagiotropica Purple Form also known as Tillandsia Kamii, has a nice symmetrical shape with short, pointed, soft, velvety leaves. This unusual form of plagiotropica blushes purple when grown in brighter light. They are native to the foggy mountains in Guatemala and El Salvador. When blooming it produces a short bright red inflorescence with purple flowers. All of our plants ship green however when we have blooming ones in stock we will send them.

These plants are low maintenance, making them a great choice for people who are new to indoor plants.

They need regular daily indirect or filtered sunlight (so fine for desks, shelves, bathrooms or bedrooms). A weekly water is all they require - although you can always give them a mist in between if they look a little dry.

Air plants prefer regular air circulation, so we suggest open terrariums rather than the kind with lids.
